Here are your May writing prompts.

I do love May because of all the delicate and happy flowers that make an appearance. What a lovely way to celebrate the spring season.

I have long recommended writing by hand whenever you are doing free writing or warmup writing. Moving from head to heart to hand in this way makes a difference in what your mind, your intuition, and your pen produce.

 

May Writing Prompts

  • If the month of May was a color, what color would it be and why?
  • What spring season activities do you look forward to every year?
  • Look out a window. Describe what you see using vivid color descriptions in your narrative. Blue might be deep turquoise, and yellow may be pale lemon yellow.
  • What is your guilty pleasure?
