Your July writing prompts are here! I can’t believe the year is half over already. What’s that saying where the days are long, but the years are short? The older I get, the more this seems true.

Beat the July heat by slowing down, sitting in the shade, and using these prompts to move your writing along. And don’t hesitate to include an icy lemonade drink as part of the ritual.

As you know (or maybe you don’t!), I advocate writing by hand anytime you are doing free writing or warmup writing. There’s something about moving from head to heart to hand that makes a difference in what the pen produces.
