February Writing Prompts

We made it through that long cold January! Here are your February writing prompts.

When using these writing prompts, I recommend you write by hand. You’ll find this to be a more intuitive way of writing, that it slows you down just enough to really get into the words and ideas that present themselves. Also, keep that pen moving and don’t give in to the critic!

February Writing Prompts

  • Write a love letter to yourself. Yes! Try this; you’ll be amazed at how wonderful you really are.
  • Do you believe in soulmates? Write your thoughts for at least 10 minutes.
  • When no one is watching, I …
  • Write exactly what is on your mind right now – worries, gratitude, to-do lists, everything – and don’t stop for a minimum of 20 minutes. Set a timer.
  • A mysterious brightly-wrapped big box just arrived at your front door. What now?

Thanks so much for visiting my site. See you next month for more writing prompts.
